Kuang Si Waterfalls

Kuang Si Waterfalls, Laos – 2018. The Kuang Si falls are a short drive south of Luang Prabang and are well worth the trip. The falls are a 60 meter cascade down a steeply tiered hillside surrounded by jungle. Following the falls the river continues through a number of turquoise pools that step down through the jungle. There was a steady drizzle and the weather was cool so there were not very many visitors and no one was swimming in the pools.
